Stand Against Racism

April 28-30
Harriet Beecher Stowe Center

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center supports the YWCA Hartford Region to Stand Against Racism. Join us as together we raise awareness of the interpersonal, social, political, and economic effects of racism and devise action steps to counter racism in our communities.

Enjoy the new Stowe Center tour that connects the past to the present and includes a facilitated conversation on contemporary issues surrounding race and discrimination.

Let us know what you will do to combat racism!

Please note: while the 1871 Stowe House is undergoing preservation, the 1873 Visitor Center and 1884 Katharine Seymour Day House will host the tour. Stowe Center staff will offer visitors a behind-the-scenes look inside the Stowe House as construction allows.
