Her words changed the world.

Stowe to Go

Let the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center bring an engaging, 90-minute interactive program to your library, community center, house of worship, senior center, or civic group.

Program options include:

Harriet Beecher Stowe

Her Words Changed the World, a dynamic presentation exploring the life and impact of anti-slavery novelist Harriet Beecher Stowe. Discover Stowe's life  -- her childhood, family, education, marriage and motherhood -- her inspiration to write Uncle Tom’s Cabin and the lasting impact of its message. Connect the past to the present and find out how you can create social change.

Salon

Salons by Stowe, open conversations on social justice issues, provide a safe space to talk about difficult topics. Led by trained staff, and with a focus on generating solutions, Salons place contemporary issues -- such as implicit bias, white privilege, and racism -- in historic context. Leave feeling inspired to action.
