To Kill a Mockingbird follows the talk and book signing.
Santopietro traces the writing of Harper Lee’s 1960 masterpiece, her use of her Southern hometown in the novel, and the impact winning the 1961 Pulitzer Prize for Literature had on Lee. He takes us behind the scenes of the film, with its screenplay by Horton Foote and searing performance by
Gregory Peck as humane lawyer Atticus Finch.
