Conjuring Spirits

A Spirits at Stowe Event

October 19, 2024

Get into the spooky spirit this October at the Stowe Center! Join us for Spirits at Stowe: Conjuring Spirits, a FREE community event exploring the history of spiritualism and its ties to activism. Gather your friends and neighbors for an unforgettable afternoon filled with magic, mystery, and fall fun. For the adults, experience the thrill of tarot readings and spine-tingling ghost stories inside the historic Day House. Meanwhile, the Visitor Center will be buzzing with kid-friendly harvest activities, hands-on crafts, and a cozy storytime perfect for little ones. Don’t miss out on a day of festive autumn fun for the whole family!

Registration is requested for attendance tracking, but not required.

If you’re feeling in the mood for a radical tour, join us for our Spirits at Stowe, Spirits After Dark tour from 6:00 – 7:00 PM following the event.

Join us on October 26, from 4:30 – 6:00 PM, for Beyond the Veil: A History of Spiritualism. Historian Katie Keckeisen goes beyond tangible aspects of Spiritualism, though, and explores the meanings that Spiritualism had for individuals and society.
